Chill + Transcendent.

I’d expect nothing less from a musical performance curated by Rani de Leon at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center. I’ve seen Rani at many JACCC events at this point, and had the pleasure of working for him last year, covering the Little Tokyo Garden Concert Series. Similar to the vibes of last year’s concert series, this performance from April 2019 with artist, Mark de Clive-Lowe, could be described in one word: cool. Smooth jazz and trip-hop beats from a world class band: ✔️. Lyrical dancers Sam Chin, and Natasha Adorlee: ✔️. What more could you ask for?

Also on stage was artist, Kuni, with a live creation of expressive calligraphy to start and compliment the performance. What followed was visual and sonic bliss. Great event:
