In late November of 2013, I moved from Stamford, CT to Los Angeles, CA. On my mother’s side of the family, I always had an aunt and uncle that lived in Los Angeles; they welcomed me to the city with open arms. My aunt has a cousin, and that cousin has a few sons. I met those two sons when I moved to LA.

Are you still with me?

I had the pleasure of meeting both Marcus and Brenton Guy and they helped me feel right at home. For Marcus’ birthday, I brought along my camera and took a few photographs just for fun. One of Marcus’ friends at the party, Ed, without even seeing my work, asked if I would be interested in photographing his birthday! Theeeen…..after Ed’s party, Ed’s wife, Tesha, gave me a call and said she loved the photos from Ed’s party and wanted to know if I’d be available to photograph her parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party.

*Exhales…

That’s how we get to this page and these photos. I had an incredible time photographing Annie and Curtis’ anniversary party.  There was so much good fun, food, friends, and family. As always, little kids and babies usually steal the show when the camera’s around…
